I first found Cat lovers Scratchers in my local newspaper approximately 10 years ago …
With a large cat and limited space, the solid workmanship, ability to choose my design and the price really appealed to me. Having already spent a lot of money replacing scratches that did not last, structurely falling apart … to find something that I only had to purchase once, and my precious cat loved using it. After using it for a couple of years it needed recovering in his favorite scratching areas, but the scratcher itself is still standing today, although used for another purpose after the lose of my precious cat. It was a few years later after again replacing several scratches, that I found Catlovers Scratches again … Now a foster carer of kittens aswell as having my own adult cats … there workmanship and design quality has again proven itself … With the scratcher withstanding many cats / Kittens, with so far 2 years solid use … with only their favourite areas showing signs of wear. I would not purchase a scratcher from anywhere else, after finding Cat Lovers Scratchers again …

Little Paws Kitten Rescue is a cat rescue organization that has been operating for the past 11 years in the Brisbane area. Sonia of Cat Lover Scratchers has been supplying our main cattery at Loganlea for this time and we are very happy with the sturdy and attractive scratching posts that Sonia has made for our cats and kittens.

Sonia has been able to custom make any scratcher to fit a certain place in any cat run. All of the Little Paws cats and my own cats love her posts and are often found sleeping and playing in or on them. They are made of wood, not cardboard, which makes them sturdy and they last so much longer.

I have been very privilege to have Sonia make for me two well made scratching stands. These were made especially for my Maine Coon cats. They have plenty of room to stretch out or just hang over the side and play footsies with the smaller cats.

As a cat foster carer, I have not come across another cat scratching post that is as well built as Sonia’s. I have have purchased other post before but my cat refuses to use them and instead, she would claw on my sofa. Since we brought Sonia’s post home, my cat has been happily scratching the firm rope tied around the pole many times throughout the day and sleeping soundly on the platform. Thank you Sonia for putting a lot of thought into building your scratching posts - It is sturdy, practical and plush. You really showed your care and love for cats!
